The Village Band
Achini's Village Jam Sessions
Where music meets mission. Come play, create, and build community.

Music Built This Movement
George Achini didn't just advocate for the homeless — he played his way into their hearts. With a guitar he bought on layaway from a pawnshop, he built the George Achini Institute, created the Victory Cafe for homeless artists, and turned street corners into stages. The Achini's Village Band carries that legacy forward.
Our jam sessions are open to all skill levels and all art forms — guitarists, drummers, pianists, vocalists, painters, poets, photographers. If you create, you belong here. Sessions are free, instruments are shared, and the only requirement is showing up.
“To use our music to touch and inspire people to get back on their feet. To be their best selves.”— George Achini
